⁷ Esau and Jacob both had too many animals to live together in the same place. There was not enough land to give food to all their animals. ⁸ So Esau went to live in the hills of Seir. He was also called Edom.

⁹ This is a list of Esau's descendants, the Edomites. They lived in the hill country of Seir.
